1. Anse Source d'Argent on La Digue

2. Anse Major, on Mahe

A hidden gem. Cannot be accessed by vehicle which means minimal tourists. There is a beautiful hike that starts from Bel Omre that leads you through some tropical vegetation and majestic views of Silhouett Island before taking you down to the beach where a fresh water pool lies in wait. The other way to reach this secluded little beach is off course by yacht.

3. Beau Vallon Beach, on Mahe

This is for the tourists, a long beach with arguably one of the best sunsets around. On a Wednesday afternoon the beach front comes alive with a local food market and plenty of other stalls selling curios, clothing and more.

4. Anse Lazio, on Praslin

This is a really special beach, especially if you arrive by boat. Swim with the resident turtle and snorkel with the bat fish that swim around the back of your boat. There is a sweet little pub hidden in the tropical forest called "The Honesty Bar"

5. Anse Georgette, on Praslin

This beach offers an incredible mixture of pristine white sand, bright turquoise ocean and tropical pal trees.
